Hello, and welcome to two.point. In this blog, I plan to blather on about web technology and design, and other subjects I find interesting.
First of all, I should talk a little bit about myself and what the title is about. My name Chris Black (jachbla) and currently I'm an Interactive Media Design major living in Valencia, CA. My present line of work is in sound design and video editing, but my enthusiasm for the web has lured me back to school.
At this moment I'm developing a site for class called "two.point", which is a social Web Application resource where users can log in and post new sites, as well as tag and rate them. It is currently in the earliest stages of design (just a design brief and mockup/comp) but I plan on tracking the development of this project through this blog.
Hopefully this design and implementation process will be of some interest to readers, but these will only be a small portion of the total posts here. I'm quite the technology and computer nut and it seems like I'll never stop running out of new things to talk about (or have an opinion on!).
